The Teragram Ballroom
Description
Located on the border of downtown Los Angeles and the Westlake neighborhood, The Teragram Ballroom is a multi-faceted event and performance venue featuring a ballroom dance floor, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, unobstructed sightlines, and advanced acoustical treatments. Built in 1913 as the Playhouse Theater, the historic venue boasts a 30′ proscenium stage, three dressing rooms, a balcony, three bars, and room for 625 people. The facility includes a lobby, full-service café, and a separate bar/lounge.
Named as a tribute to the owner’s wife, the venue is “Margaret” spelled backwards.
