Built circa 1927, Wilshire Ebell Theatre is one of the oldest continually-operating live performance venues in Los Angeles, CA. A 1,238-seat classic proscenium theatre, the Wilshire Ebell Theatre is strictly a rental facility hosting performances ranging from ballet, full orchestral concerts and theater to standup comedy, children’s musicals and international pop concerts. Proceeds from the Theatre help to support the operation, preservation, and mission of the historic Ebell Club. The Ebell of Los Angeles is an educational and philanthropic organization founded by women, for women in 1894.
