Built as a movie house in the 1920s, The Buskirk-Chumley Theater is an intimate venue in downtown Bloomington, IN. The theater is the primary performance venue for the Lotus World Music & Arts Festival, Cardinal Stage Company, the PRIDE Film Festival, and Indiana University’s African American Arts Institute. The 630-seat theater hosts events of all kinds including touring concerts, dance recitals, university lectures, theatrical productions, orchestra, comedy, opera and film.
BCT Management, Inc. operates the Buskirk-Chumley Theater on behalf of the City of Bloomington.
