The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts
Description
Located in downtown Louisville, KY, The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts has served as the home for Louisville’s nationally-renowned arts scene, and the primary performance space for its resident companies since 1983.
Whitney Hall is Kentucky Performing Arts’ largest performance facility with 2,450 seats. Whitney Hall can accommodate everything from the most elaborate touring Broadway extravaganzas to the more modest chamber music ensembles.
With 619 seats, the Bomhard Theater is an ideal facility for musical performances and smaller-scale dance and theater. It also serves as the home for Stage One, Louisville’s family theater. Steeply raked aisles provide a clear view of the stage from any seat.
Located on the 4th floor of The Kentucky Center, the 200-capacity Tom Clark-Todd Hall is a multipurpose rehearsal and meeting space featuring hardwood floors, high ceilings, a projector and screen, multiple ambient lighting options, a wall of mirrors, an acoustic wall and long flowing curtains.
The MeX Theater is a simple black box theater with a maximum seating capacity of 139.
