Boarding House Park
Description
Home to the nonprofit Lowell Summer Music Series, Boarding House Park is a 2,000 capacity outdoor concert venue and green space in downtown Lowell, MA. Built in 1988 against the backdrop of the historic Boott Mills, the Lowell Performance Pavilion in Boarding House Park is part of the Lowell National Historical Park managed by the National Park Service. The 100-foot long metal structure serves as a stage for outdoor performances and a site for festivals and outdoor markets. The park includes a terraced lawn with seating steps where patrons can brink blankets and chairs to view performances. Boarding House Park is also home to the annual Lowell Folk Festival.
