Established in 2006 in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, Jalopy Theatre and School of Music is a multi-faceted arts space showcasing folk, roots, bluegrass, country, blues and traditional world music from local and traveling artists. The venue has a full kitchen, bar, sound setup, and instrument backline. The School of Music also offers music workshops, classes, and instruments for sale.
