Proctors Theatre

Proctors Theatre in downtown Schenectady, NY, is the Capital Region’s destination for major Broadway shows, cutting-edge film festivals, exciting special events, and everything in between. Proctors offers two theater facilities: The 2,600-capacity Mainstage and the 436-capacity GE Theatre.

Proctors’ historic MainStage Theatre is fully equipped with a large proscenium stage, lighting, sound, rigging, and over 20 dressing rooms. It is also home to a fully operational Mighty Wurlitzer organ.

Located on the first floor, the GE Theatre is a flexible, black box theater featuring the largest movie screen in the northeast, a top-notch sound system, movable seating, a projection room, three dressing rooms, and a load-in/tech space.
