Blumenthal Performing Arts Center

Opened in 1992, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center at Founders Hall in Uptown Charlotte, NC, houses three performance spaces: the Belk Theater, the Booth Playhouse, and the black box Stage Door Theater.

Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is the largest venue on campus at 2,118 seats. The proscenium theater features state-of-the-art equipment suitable for any event; from grand opera to rock to corporate meetings and lectures. The space has multiple levels arranged in a contemporary European horseshoe fashion creating an intimate atmosphere with world-class acoustics.

Booth Playhouse at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is an intimate, courtyard-style proscenium theater comprised of both orchestra and gallery levels seating up to 434. The venue hosts a variety of dance and musical ensembles as well as meetings, seminars, and workshops.

Stage Door Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is a 263-capacity, small and versatile black box space located on North College Street, part of the Bank of America Corporate Center that also includes the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and Founders Hall.
