Built in 1892 and fully renovated in 1994, the historic Ryman Auditorium is known as the Mother Church of Country Music, the birthplace of bluegrass, and the former home of the Grand Ole Opry. The 2,362-seat venue is a premier music hall with legendary acoustics and is the cultural epicenter of downtown Nashville, TN. The Ryman is open for tours during the day and at night offers a wide variety of entertainment performances.
