The John W. Gallivan Utah Center is a year-round open space and area destination in downtown Salt Lake City, UT. The Gallivan Center is home to an 800-capacity outdoor amphitheater, the 800-capacity East Gallivan Plaza that becomes a public ice skating rink in winter, the 295-capacity Gallivan Hall, a banquet/meeting center, and more. The Gallivan Center is a local hub for concerts, exhibits, workshops, debates and lectures, public gatherings, festivals, and holiday celebrations. Known as Salt Lake City’s Living Room.
