Description
The Capitol Theatre Yakima is a performing arts venue and the premier entertainment center of Central Washington. Located in downtown Yakima since 1920, this historic theater serves as the primary performing arts facility for the Yakima region. The 1500-seat Main Stage is ideal for concerts, musicals, plays, lectures, and other performing arts. The stage is also home to Yakima Symphony Orchestra, Town Hall, and many local dance studios. The nonprofit Capitol Theatre Committee programs, manages, and maintains the city-owned facilities.
