Description
Originally built in 1926, the Jeanne and George Roper Performing Arts Center is a former movie palace restored and managed by Tidewater Community College in downtown Norfolk, VA. The Roper Center presents concerts, comedy, theater and more its historic theater. The state-of-the-art performance venue seats up to 900 guests and features stained-glass chandeliers and hand-painted architectural detail resembling a Spanish courtyard.
