Morrison Center for the Performing Arts

Located on the Boise State University campus, 1,994-seat Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts is Idaho’s premier performing arts center. The Main Hall is the primary performance space at the Morrison Center. Broadway In Boise, Boise Philharmonic, Ballet Idaho, Opera Idaho and many other local and national touring acts perform on the Main Hall stage.

The Danny Peterson Theatre is a black box theatre located inside the Morrison Center. This 210-seat space is used as a classroom as well as hosting student and public performances. The Danny Peterson Theatre is managed by the Theatre, Film and Creative Writing Department.

The Rectial Hall is located on the academic side of the Morrison Center. This 200-seat space is used as a classroom in addition to hosting student and public performances. The Recital Hall is managed by the Music Department.
