Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center is located on the University of Maryland Medical Center campus in the Bromo Tower Arts & Entertainment District in downtown Baltimore, MD. Originally built as a vaudeville house in 1914, then restored in 2004, the ornate 2,248-seat Hippodrome Theatre Baltimore is now primarily a venue for touring Broadway productions with the addition of national touring dance, music and comedy.
