Description
The Drake is a world class performing arts venue located on the second floor of the Amherst Bank Building in downtown Amherst, MA. Bringing in local, national and global artists from dance to comedy, spoken word to stage, open mic nights to local story-telling, The Drake is the region’s premier gathering place for the cross-cultural exchange of the arts. The intimate venue features a full-service bar serving cocktails, beer and wine. Flexible seating allows a standing capacity of 240 with theater seating for up to 170. The Drake is run by the nonprofit Downtown Amherst Foundation.
