Description
Built in 1925, The Fillmore Detroit is an opulent, multi-use entertainment venue located in the historic Palms Building in the Foxtown neighborhood of downtown Detroit, MI. Originally an extravagant movie house named the State Theatre, the legendary music venue is now operated by Live Nation welcoming national and international touring artists.
The Fillmore’s elegant lobby features marble columns, ceiling frescoes, Art Deco wall sconces, glass chandeliers, a poster wall and a remote bar. The theater boasts a stage flanked by gold-crested knights in armor and a spectacular domed ceiling with beautiful chandeliers.
