First opened in 1891, Carnegie Hall is a national historic landmark and cultural center in New York comprised of three performance venues and numerous event spaces. With superb acoustics and five curvilinear levels seating 2,790, Isaac Stern Auditorium / Ronald O. Perelman Stage is able to host everything from classical music to popular and world-music concerts, comedy shows, major film and TV screenings, benefits, and more. The 599-capacity Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall presents a perfect setting for the latest contemporary sounds from classical, pop, jazz, and world music. With 268 seats, the intimate Joan and Sanford I. Weill Recital Hall is home to hundreds of recitals, chamber music concerts, panel discussions, and debut performances.
