Description
The Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts is the premier location for cultural arts and entertainment in downtown Raleigh, NC. The venue hosts national touring performers and is also home to five resident companies: Carolina Ballet, NC Opera, NC Symphony, NC Theatre and PineCone. The Marietta Center is comprised of four different venues: Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, Meymandi Concert Hall, A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater, and Kennedy Theatre.
Opened in 1932, the 2354-capacity Raleigh Memorial Auditorium blends state-of-the-art technical specs with traditional theater amenities.
Home to the North Carolina Symphony, the 1,587-seat Meymandi Concert Hall hosts national and international artists in music and comedy.
Located on the east side of the center, the intimate A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater offers a unique space perfect for ballet, opera, concerts and comedy with seating for up to 600.
The 150-capacity, black box Kennedy Theatre provides performance and rehearsal space for regional theater as well as Broadway performers.
