The Texan: A Landmark Venue is the premier live music venue of East Texas located in the heart of historic downtown Athens. Owned and operated by the City of Athens, the venue offers a chance to experience local, regional, and national live music acts of a variety of different genres including country, Texas country, folk, Americana, bluegrass, alternative, rock, indie, Latino, Tejano, and more.
