Your Downtown Danceteria since 1970, First Avenue & 7th St Entry is downtown Minneapolis’ historic nightclub, made famous by Prince’s Purple Rain. Internationally recognized as a premier concert location, the venue includes two levels. The legendary 1,550-capacity First Avenue main room has six fully stocked bars, a dance floor, projection screen, state-of-the-art sound system, and theatrical lighting.
The 7th St Entry is a smaller 250 capacity venue attached to the historic First Avenue. Known for its intimate vibe, The Entry opened its doors in 1980 welcoming national and local bands.
