The Atlas Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit performing arts venue in a historic theater located in the heart of Washington DC’s historic H Street NE neighborhood. The Atlas is a 1930’s Art Deco movie theater that was fully restored as the Atlas Performing Arts Center in 2006. The Atlas has four performance venues. The Lang Theatre is a 258 fixed-seat theater space. The Sprenger Theatre is a large flex-seat theater space that holds 180 seated, 280 standing. Lab II is a small, flex-seat black box theatre space that holds 79 seated, 100 standing. Lab I is also a small, black box theater space that holds 60 seated and 90 standing.
